What you will be doing:
- Develop technical and tactical skills in scrum, lineout, maul, breakdown, tackling and ball-carrying, supported by video analysis.
- Apply specialist forwards and contact-area expertise in collaboration with the wider coaching team.
- Support programme planning, training delivery, goal setting and regular individual player feedback.
- Coordinate team preparation, administration and player selection with relevant staff, ensuring alignment across women’s programmes and Scottish Rugby procedures.
What we’re looking for:
- At least five years’ coaching experience in a high-performance rugby environment, ideally in women’s rugby.
- Experience leading performance programmes, including individual development planning and player monitoring.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance player development with competitive performance, supported by specialist coaching expertise and a valid driving licence.
