The HP Academy Women Coach will be responsible for delivering coaching services in accordance with the Fiji Rakavi Football Union’s Strategic Plan and annual operational objectives.
Principal Accountabilities:
As the High-Performance Unit HP Academy Women Coach, you will:
· Provide overall leadership of the players in your center, and guide it to success
· Identify players and recommend players for selection into the Academy
· Develop players core skills & implement individual player plans
· Develop tactical and technical playing understanding, as well as review and analyze individual player performance
· Monitor and assess player performances at the Daily Training Environment
· Recommend individual players who can become a part of our elite national teams’ representation
· Ensuring alignment with the Flying Fijians technical/tactical priorities and associated playing style and structure as set by the Flying Fijians Head Coach.
· Working in partnership with the High-Performance program, including Test Coach and General Manager – HPU.
Qualifications, Experiences and Competencies
1. World Rugby Level 3 Accredited
2. Coaching Experience at Skipper Provincial Level specifically able to technically coach Scrummaging and Lineouts
3. Brings an exciting and Innovative Coaching Style
4. Has the Ability to Create a Positive Learning Environment
5. Has the capability to identify and develop players' Technical, Tactical, and holistic abilities through the Individual Player Development Plans
6. Ability to work with timelines and deadlines
7. Is Computer Literate and competent
8. Has the ability to plan and strategies short-, medium- and long-term programs Direct experience in pathway/age group program development to accelerate the skills and competencies of players, coaches and staff
