- Analyse complex datasets on players, volunteers, fans and the wider game to identify trends and patterns
- Turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations and stories for executive one-pagers, board papers and presentations
- Lead and manage projects, shaping requirements with stakeholders and presenting insight to senior management
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency, compliance with data privacy laws and embed data governance frameworks
- Own the long-term workplan for data projects and manage data suppliers to maximise value
- Shape a data-driven culture through the RFU's data community
About You
- Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries across relational databases
- Proven dashboard development expertise in Tableau or a similar BI tool
- Understanding of statistical methods and their application to business problems
- Experience translating data into meaningful insight for non-analytical audiences, with examples of influencing decisions
- An experienced project manager who can run projects independently from start to finish
- An outstanding communicator and collaborator who can manage upwards and work across multi-function teams
- Desirable: Python or R, Tableau certification and experience presenting to boards or executive teams
Key Details
- Location: Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, with some flexibility to work from home; occasional travel
