England Netball is looking for Safeguarding Tutors to deliver its in-house safeguarding training to coaches and volunteers across the country.
The Role
The course combines self-led online material with tutor-led workshops, using realistic netball scenarios and covering adult and child safeguarding. You will help coaches and volunteers recognise unsafe situations, abuse and poor practice, respond appropriately, and understand their role in creating supportive netball environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver England Netball’s tutor-led safeguarding workshops
- Develop and support coaches and volunteers to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns
- Help learners understand their role in creating safe, supportive environments
- Deliver engaging, well-prepared and effective sessions
About You
- At least three years’ experience as a social worker, teacher, health professional, police officer or in another relevant safeguarding role
- A UK Coaching, NSPCC, Ann Craft Trust or other NGB-recognised safeguarding certificate from the last three years
- Friendly, empathetic and an excellent communicator
- Reliable, organised and positive
- Teaching or mentoring experience (ideally in sport) and a teaching qualification are desirable
