England Golf is the governing body for male and female amateur golf in England. It represents over 1,900 golf clubs with over 740,000 members and is affiliated to The R&A, the joint global governing body of golf.

England Golf are seeking applications for one voluntary position in the performance team of the Senior Women’s Captain. The role will initially be agreed for one year, with the possibility of a full four-year term in office.
The voluntary position requires a commitment based on communication with the Selection Committee and attendance at tournaments, utilising knowledge and data provided via the various support systems used to select the Senior Women’s Teams.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the Selection Committee and Captaining the England Senior Women’s Teams at the European Senior Women’s Team Championship and the Senior Women’s Home International matches.
The successful person requires:
- A working knowledge of senior women’s amateur golf;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Sound management skills;
- Enthusiastic, personable and competitive.
