PURPOSE

It’s an incredibly exciting year to work in cricket and this Event Production Manager role will offer the individual the opportunity to work within the Events Team who are at the forefront of cricket delivery in England and Wales. The role will support the event delivery for The Hundred helping to create a world-class experience for media, players, and fans across all our venues.

The successful candidate will require strong planning skills and a good eye for detail, with the ability to build relationships and problem solve under pressure. They will be required to work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver the highest possible standards in venue collaboration and operations.

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF

  • You have passion for major event delivery within match day event presentation.
  • You have excellent organisational and project management skills
  • You enjoy planning and implementing operational plans and have a strong eye for detail whilst remaining calm under pressure.

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging fan experiences across all touchpoints, supporting the end-to-end planning and execution of The Hundred.
  • Support the Senior Event Production manager and The Head of Event Production, while developing and overseeing detailed project plans with the event presentation agency to ensure clear communication, alignment, and timely delivery across all functional areas.
  • Lead event production delivery across multiple venues, including commercial, digital, and team activations, ensuring seamless integration with event presentation and broadcast, and working closely with ECB, The Hundred Teams, suppliers, and the broadcast teams to enhance both fan and player experience.
  • Support the planning and execution of operational delivery, including logistics, venue overlay, site visits, and match-day operations, while acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders and coordinating suppliers to ensure all objectives are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, teams, suppliers, local authorities, and internal departments, while supporting budget management, financial tracking, and supplier performance to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery. This role will include unsociable hours and working weekends.
  • Please note that this role is office based and requires you to be in the office a minimum of three days per week.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • The right to work in the UK
  • Experience supporting the planning and operational delivery of events and matches in sport.
  • An understanding of global event delivery at multiple high‑profile venues.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple work streams, deliver under pressure, problem solve and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and administrative skills with good attention to detail.
  • Good communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills alongside an ability to build strong relationships.
  • Knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and risk protocols in live event environments.
  • A proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humour; understanding the ever-changing events environment which will include unsociable hours and working weekends.
