Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high player availability to the Dragons RFC senior squad through accurate injury assessment, diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation.
- Plan and deliver high level rehab to injured first team players ensuring a safe and effective return to play using objective testing and data informed decisions.
- Communicate effectively with the Head of medical to ensure they are kept up to date on all medical matters relating to first team players
- Assist in keeping accurate detailed records of all injuries for injury surveillance project
- Provide match day physiotherapy care and pitchside trauma cover for first team fixtures
- Manage caseload of players effectively and efficiently
- Provide education, mentoring and to more junior therapists and Interns.
Qualifications + Experience
- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
- Membership of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP)
- Registration with Heath and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Level 3 immediate Care in Sport (ICIS) or equivalent qualification
- 5yrs experience in elite level Sport
- Eligible to work in the UK
