The insport programme is a strategic programme led by Disability Sport Wales to drive cultural change across the physical activity and sport sector in Wales. Its purpose is to influence attitudes, approaches, and provision to ensure that disabled people are meaningfully included in all aspects of organisational planning and delivery.
We are looking for a proactive, experienced, and person-focused individual who will work alongside us to support the progress of a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport, Regional Sport Partnerships, and/or National Partners as they develop their inclusive provision or programming.How to make an Expression of Interest (EoI)? Please provide in writing, or via video (using BSL) and overview of the following: 1. An overview of your relevant knowledge, skills and experiences relevant to the items included in Section 4 of the advert. Include relevant applied examples of how you have; (a) Gained experience of inclusive community and/or performance sport (b) Established knowledge of the physical activity (including sport) network and sector partners in Wales (c) The skills required to influence inclusive cultural change and create strong and equitable workforce development systems 2. A description of your approach to relationship building and how you would support a range of partners (include examples of how you have successfully influenced partner work programmes).
