Derby County Football Club is looking for an experienced marketing professional to join as Head of Marketing on a maternity cover contract of up to 12 months.
The Role
Leading a talented marketing team at Pride Park Stadium, you will deliver impactful campaigns, drive supporter engagement, strengthen the Club’s brand and support key commercial objectives across a diverse range of projects throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Club’s marketing function and team
- Drive brand growth, awareness and engagement across local, national and international audiences
- Develop and deliver key seasonal campaigns, including season tickets, memberships and kit launches
- Oversee fan engagement activity and supporter-focused campaigns
- Manage marketing content across digital, print and stadium platforms, including email and app marketing
- Support ticketing, retail, hospitality and commercial objectives through targeted marketing
- Review campaign performance using insight and data, and manage marketing budgets and brand consistency
About You
- Proven marketing experience, with strong knowledge of digital, email and social channels
- Experience delivering campaigns that drive engagement and sales
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of brand development
- Experience managing teams, projects or events in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, resilient, proactive and creative
- A degree in Marketing, Events Management or a related discipline is desirable
