CitySport at City St George's, University of London is looking for a Sport and Wellness Assistant to provide front-line customer service and support the day-to-day running of its sports facilities.
The Role
A key front-line role within the Sport and Wellness Service, helping students, staff and the local community to be active, with a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment for all users.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and support facility users, manage enquiries and control access to CitySport
- Administer the Leisure Management System, processing bookings and payments
- Set up activity spaces and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Facilitate sport and wellbeing sessions and support events and outreach activities
About You
- Experience in a customer-facing role, with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to work effectively within a team and follow procedures accurately
- Willing to work a flexible shift pattern, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, First Aid at Work and sports coaching qualifications
Key Details
- Location: CitySport, 124 Goswell Road, London
- Contract: full time and permanent, 35 hours per week on average across a rolling rota
