Brighton & Hove Albion FC is looking for a Sports BTEC Tutor to join its Academy at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing. You will help young footballers balance their studies with their development in elite football.
The Role
You will take ownership of the delivery and assessment of the BTEC Level 2/3 Extended Diploma in Sport and oversee the Club's A-Level provision, working closely with a multidisciplinary academy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess the BTEC Level 2/3 Extended Diploma in Sport
- Oversee the Club's A-Level provision
- Contribute to PE delivery across KS3 and KS4 Day Release (YDP)
- Support the Sporting Excellence Professional Apprenticeship
- Create an inspiring, modern learning environment that challenges and stretches young players
- Integrate e-learning strategies and carry out internal verification
- Track and report on academic progress
- Contribute to personal development and life-skills programmes
About You
- An energetic, forward-thinking educator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance sporting environment
- Passionate about youth development, with an understanding of the pressures elite young athletes face balancing football and studies
- Experience of teaching and assessing BTEC Sport at KS4 and KS5 level
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Proof of the right to live and work in the UK
