Birmingham County FA (BCFA) is looking for a new Independent Chair to join its Board and wider team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to help shape the future of football across the West Midlands Combined Authority and Warwickshire, keeping the game inclusive, sustainable, accessible, safe and enjoyable for all.
Working with the Board, Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team, the Chair will provide strategic leadership, independent judgement and constructive challenge.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Board in setting and monitoring strategic and financial priorities
- Ensure alignment with The FA’s national strategy, regulatory requirements and the needs of clubs, leagues and volunteers
- Promote effective governance, integrity, transparency and accountability
- Oversee organisational performance, financial sustainability and risk management
- Support and constructively challenge the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team
