Barnet FC is looking for a Lead PDP Coach and Head of Coaching to lead the delivery and development of its Academy coaching programme.
The Role
As a member of the Academy Management Team, you will support the Academy Manager in implementing the Academy Performance Plan and ensuring compliance with EPPP and EFL Youth Development Rules, while leading, mentoring and managing the Academy’s coaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Academy Performance Plan and help run Academy operations
- Lead the design, delivery and development of the Academy coaching programme
- Deliver high-quality training for the PDP age group
- Ensure every PDP player has a regularly reviewed Individual Learning Plan
- Mentor, support and manage Academy coaching staff across all phases
- Coordinate with sports science, medical and education, including the Sporting Excellence Programme
About You
- UEFA A Licence and FA Advanced Youth Award
- A good working knowledge of EFL Youth Development Rules and EPPP
- Experience leading and mentoring coaches
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
- Enhanced DBS check required
