Barnet FC is looking for a Head Physiotherapist to lead physiotherapy services across the Barnet FC First Team, Barnet FC Academy and London Bees FC.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager/CEO, you will provide clinical leadership across the medical department, overseeing medical staff across all three programmes and working with coaching, sports science and strength and conditioning teams to maximise player availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day physiotherapy for the First Team, Academy and London Bees
- Assess, diagnose and manage acute, chronic and complex injuries
- Lead rehabilitation from initial assessment through to return to play
- Co-ordinate referrals to consultants, surgeons and imaging providers
- Lead injury prevention, screening and load management discussions
- Attend home and away fixtures as required
- Lead, manage and support medical staff across all programmes
About You
- A degree in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy, current HCPC registration and CSP membership where appropriate
- Extensive experience in elite football or professional sport
- Experience leading, managing or mentoring medical staff
- ATMMiF and FA Emergency Aid (or willingness to obtain it)
- Full UK driving licence
- Desirable: MSc in Sports Physiotherapy or Sports Medicine, FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine and first-team, women’s or academy experience
