Aston Villa are looking for a Disability Access Officer to take the lead in making sure the club is accessible to everyone.
The Role
Sitting within the Ticketing team, you will make sure disabled supporters can experience the club safely, confidently and without barriers. You will advise on wider club projects and the design of accessible services, lead the club’s Accessibility Network group with the Fan Advisory Board, attend Aston Villa Disabled Supporters Association meetings and oversee accessibility services at matchdays and events at Villa Park.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the club’s accessibility provision so every supporter can enjoy the club without barriers
- Advise on accessible design across club projects and services
- Lead the Accessibility Network group with the Fan Advisory Board
- Attend Aston Villa Disabled Supporters Association meetings and build external relationships
- Provide real-time support and oversee accessibility services on matchdays and at events
- Coordinate with internal teams to put the right arrangements in place
About You
- A clear passion for promoting diversity, equality and inclusion
- Proven experience in a disability access or similar role
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work matchdays and events

- Location: Bodymoor Heath Training Ground and Villa Park
- Contract: Permanent, full time
- Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience
