Active Fusion is looking for an Inclusion and Employability Officer to lead and develop its inclusion, employability and life skills programmes.
The Role
You will support disadvantaged, disengaged and vulnerable young people to overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes, designing impactful programmes, building partnerships and creating pathways into education, training, volunteering and employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of inclusion, employability and life skills programmes
- Build partnerships with schools, employers, training providers, local authorities and community organisations
- Create pathways into education, training, volunteering, apprenticeships and employment, including for young people who are NEET or at risk
- Monitor programme performance, budgets and outcomes and report on impact
- Identify and support funding and development opportunities
- Champion inclusion, wellbeing and youth voice through mentoring and advocacy
About You
- Experience delivering employability, inclusion, youth work, education or community programmes
- Experience in SEND, Alternative Provision or PRU settings
- Experience working with disadvantaged or vulnerable young people
- Strong partnership-building, communication and presentation skills
Key Details
- Location: Doncaster, with travel across South Yorkshire
- Contract: Permanent, full time
- Salary: £25,500 – £27,500
