Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 (Women’s RWC 2025) will be the 10th edition of the women's tournament. World Rugby, in partnership with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and UK Sport, have formed a Local Operating Company to plan and deliver the event.

Ambitions for the tournament are at an all-time high as women’s rugby is one of the fastest growing team sports in the world. Women’s RWC 2025 will be the ultimate stage for the best players, teams and coaches from 16 nations across the globe and is set to be the biggest and most widely watched women's rugby event ever. This role will report to the CCW Manager During the initial planning stage, the role will support planning across all Tournament Services Functional Areas (FAs). Catering, Cleaning and Waste (CCW), and Logistics (LOG). During Tournament time, the role will be deployed to venue(s) to lead on site operations for CCW and LOG.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work with the CCW Manager and venues to develop and ensure delivery of agreed levels of service and specifications.
• Align the planning and operations to achieve venue cleaning, waste and sustainability plans in line with tournament objectives.
• Support on the development of tournament services operational plans, policies and procedures.
• Work with RWC 2025 FAs to scope fixtures, furniture and equipment (FF&E) requirements and assist with any subsequent procurement required.
• Conduct additional Venue Audits to capture available FF&E at each venue where necessary.
• Lead on the Load In / Out planning for tournament venues.
• Develop plans and processes for delivering to venues including development of maps and delivery windows.
• Manage venue specific requests for logistical support.
• Liaise with venues and incumbent caterers to refine venue catering plans including - Tastings / Menu Finalisation / Pourage Operations.
• Develop KPI agreements and scoring mechanisms for venue caterers and cleaning and waste venue teams.
• Assist with the project management process and provide timely reporting across the LOG and CCW teams.
• Provide leadership and direction to venue Tournament Services volunteers and other FA’s.
• Provide support as required across the Tournament Services department to ensure key tournament deadlines are met.
• Manage on site delivery of the CCW and LOG plans, measuring this against the developed KPI’s.
• Assist in the tournament time recruitment of the wider tournament services coordinators.
• Development of the venue site operating plans for both CCW and LOG.
• Post tournament dissolution works where needed and dependant on contract length.
• Potential tender documentation and reviews within the procurement process.

Experience & knowledge you’ll need:

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Experience in event planning, a relevant qualification or other relevant experience in the catering/cleaning and waste or logistics sectors.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple individuals across a varied portfolio of responsibilities.
• Track record in taking accountability for delivery against fixed timeframes and specific project deliverables.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a superior attention to detail.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in a role within a major sporting event landscape that involved planning for catering, cleaning & waste or logistics functional areas.
• Demonstrable success in supporting senior leaders and providing managerial support and leadership to a team or workforce.
• Experience of managing external suppliers to deliver successful event operations.
