Job purpose

To support the implementation and delivery of projects run by the Foundation’s Health department. This will involve administrative duties, creation of resources and assisting with the organisation and delivery of sessions on a variety of projects including; Head 4 Health (adult mental health programme), Healthy Goals (pre-school healthy growth programme), Molineux Memories (dementia reminiscence programme), X-PERT Diabetes, Nordic Walking, Walking Football and Wolves Elders.

Key responsibilities

  • To have a clear understanding of the Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundations core values and objectives.
  • To support the health department with the project implementation, including mapping and planning activities.
  • To establish new relationships and maintain existing relationships with key stakeholders and partner organisations.
  • To lead and assist on the delivery of health-related activities, considering the needs of the members of each group.
  • To develop and deliver physical activity sessions within the project.
  • To develop creative ways to promote and market the project to engage participants to meet the intended project outcomes.
  • To process referrals and contact participants to book them onto the programme.
  • Identify, train, manage and mentor project volunteers.
  • To collect qualitative and quantitative data to demonstrate outcomes for project reporting. Assist the Senior Health Officer and Health & Wellbeing Manager with any other Health related projects where necessary.

General responsibilities
