We are seeking a Production Engineer with excellent knowledge of metallic manufacturing processes to join the developing Production Control team. We are looking for a dynamic engineer possessing good experience dealing with complex components and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. We need someone who can work effectively as part of a wider team to interpret Design drawings and generate manufacturing routings, taking ownership from initial release to ensure overall on-time delivery of components and assemblies to track.
The role will be responsible for generating manufacturing routings for components and assemblies to ensure that they are delivered on-time and to design intent. The role will work closely with the Manufacturing departments, Procurement, Assembly and the wider Production Control team to ensure any design revision changes or process changes are understood and accurately reflected in the work-orders.
The role will also work closely with Design Planning and Production Schedulers to ‘quote’ lead-times and effort required to deliver projects with in-house resources, support make vs. buy decision-making and manage key milestone dates for project delivery.
