We are seeking a Methods Engineer to join our Methods team, reporting into the Head of Methods Engineering.

Role Purpose:
The Methods Engineer will act as a bridge between Design and Manufacturing to ensure the best end to end business process outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routing definition for Work Orders / Process Flow.
  • Embed and support a culture of Designing for Manufacture (DfM) into the engineering design process.
  • Current & future development of MPIs (Manufacturing Process Improvements).
  • Use Shop floor data collection to produce analytics on key processes.
  • Engage with engineers, technicians and suppliers to provide support and define/refine specification of future technology.
  • To be successful in this role you will need prior knowledge of composite and metallic manufacturing methods. Ideally apprenticeship trained with a can-do attitude, someone who likes to work as part of a progressive team.
