Are you an enthusiastic and passionate marketeer who is passionate about growing women’s sport in the Midlands? Warwickshire County Cricket Club is looking for a creative-thinking Marketing Executive to join our new professional Bears Women’s team.
This newly appointed position will play a leading role as we seek to grow our domestic audiences, attract new fans and create a fun and welcoming environment for all supporters. Don’t worry if you’re not a cricket fan, we are looking for someone to bring a fresh view and innovative ideas for a brand-new team.
Your responsibilities will include campaign planning, collaborating with the wider marketing and commercial team, and managing digital marketing across our platforms, including CRM, social media, website, and app. You’ll also contribute to content creation and support matchday marketing efforts.

Job Purpose:
The Marketing Executive will play a critical role in promoting and developing the Bears Women’s team at Warwickshire County Cricket Club. This position focuses on growing domestic audiences, attracting new fans, and ensuring an engaging and welcoming environment for all supporters.
The role involves strategic campaign planning, working closely with the wider marketing and commercial teams, and leveraging digital marketing platforms including CRM, social media, website, and app. The Marketing Executive will also contribute to matchday operations, ensuring seamless delivery of marketing initiatives. A passion for women's sports and the ability to bring innovative ideas are key to success in this role, regardless of prior cricket knowledge.
Role Profile and Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute marketing plans for Bears Women, through both above the line and below the line platforms, to drive ticket sales, increase attendances and build the engaged fanbase (physical and digital) across the region.
• Develop the Bears Women’s team brand and gain a deep understanding of audiences to build equity and relevance, translating into commercial sales.
• Use analytical tools to assess performance of marketing, digital and content campaigns.
• Deliver fan activations at all Bears Women’s matchdays and support the overall match delivery.
• Support with the creation of content across our digital channels.
• Develop strong relationships with the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation and deliver marketing initiatives to clubs, schools and community groups.
• Support the wider business with any relevant marketing requests where aligned to the purpose.

Person Specification:
Experience:-
• Marketing degree or relevant Marketing qualification
• Experience of working in a creative, fast-paced, consumer facing marketing role
• Experience working across a full marketing mix
• Familiarity with cricket or sports-related content is an advantage – but by no means necessary
