Description
The coach will need to assist our head coach in training sessions once a week, as well as attend and help out at matches where possible. Our head coach currently trains both the 1st and 2nd team but we are looking for an assistant coach to support making sure that both teams get a good amount of focus. Applicants will need to be free from the beginning of the calendar year. Applicants must be free for the weekly training sessions on Mondays (17:30 - 19:30) throughout the season
Responsibilities:
- Support the head coach in training our 1st and 2nd teams once a week.
- Attend Saturday matches to support the teams by providing tactics and feedback, and coaching pitchside, if available.
- If available, attend Wednesday matches to provide support.
- Regular communication with the head coach and captains.
- An ambassador for the Clubs as well as Warwick Sport and the University.
The Role:
- Report to the Men’s Club Captain and work closely with the relevant team captain.
- The M1’s play on Saturday in the Midlands Men’s Division 1 and in BUCS have been promoted into the Men’s Premier North.
- M2’s play on Saturday in the Midlands Men’s Division 3 and in BUCS they play in the Men’s Midlands Tier 2.
