The University of Dundee Trampoline Club is currently seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced coach to work with the club for the 2022/23 season.

The team trains Monday 7:15pm – 9:15pm from the start of September to the end of November and mid-January to the end of March.

It is preferred that applicants are available to attend university competitions which will be held on weekends four times throughout the year (although this is not essential).

The role is self-employed and paid at an hourly rate, dependent upon qualifications and experience, which will be discussed with the successful candidate.

Person Specification:

  • Experience and success in coaching competitive adult teams
  • Must have a Level 2 Coaching qualification minimum (Level 3 is preferred)
  • Availability for Monday training sessions preferably on a weekly basis
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivery of technical training sessions to players on a weekly basis
  • Competition preparation and coaching routines to get the most out of athletes
  • Regular evaluation of team performance
  • Regular communication with team captain
  • To be a suitable ambassador for the club and University
