Job Details
The post holder will deliver quality coaching, management, organising, delivering and monitoring performance to the University of Manchester’s Mens Rugby Club and increase their performance in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS).
To take the lead on the delivery of sessions for the club 1st team and oversee the club’s ‘Coaching Team’. The Men’s Rugby Union club trains twice a week at the Armitage Sports Centre – 6pm-7.30pm Mondays & 7pm-8.30pm on Fridays ( 2021 sessions) The Men’s 1st team also plays around 10 league games and Cup fixtures between October and March, attending these fixtures would be highly desirable and reflected in the fixed fee agreed.
We are looking for a level 2 qualified Rugby coach who will deliver quality coaching and management to our club whilst organising, delivering and monitoring performance of the men's rugby teams here at the University of Manchester. The role includes delivery of a minimum of two ( 1.5 hour) training sessions per week and to be available to attend fixtures which will be on Wednesday afternoons.
Days of training we be decided and confirmed in May / June 2022.
