Role and Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include the following:

  • Management and execution of all internal and external brand requests and approvals process relating to The R&A’s commercial brand portfolio.
  • Management of the Digital Asset Management System, including guideline administration and asset management.
  • Ensuring brand processes are followed and all artwork and assets are filed efficiently and accurately.
  • Working with the Brand team, liaison with the Championship department within The R&A to ensure the brand is applied consistently across Championship staging.
  • Support the Retail department on brand approvals for retail and license products in line with the brand guidelines and partners contractual rights.
  • Liaison with external partners and stakeholders to ensure brand consistency in application to marketing and communications activities.
  • Support Marketing team colleagues in the supply of brand assets for content production, marketing campaigns and sponsorship activation.
  • Provide administrative support for The R&A’s photographic library and partnership with Getty Images.
  • Contribution to project plans and timelines across the brand portfolio.
  • Day-to-day communication with a variety of brand and design agencies, ensuring ongoing efficiencies and scheduling of work.
  • Working with the Brand team on the creation and development of brand asset formats and versions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Marketing / Business Degree.
  • Knowledge of brand management.
  • Excellent administration and time-management skills.
  • A knowledge of golf.

  • Self-motivated, pro-active and keen to contribute as part of a dynamic team.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Well organised and disciplined.
  • Ability to liaise and work well with others.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be flexible, reliable and professional.
  • Flexibility to work from Championship locations within the UK if required.
