The role – Brand Campaigns Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial department as Brand Campaigns Manager. The successful candidate will lead the successful development and management of campaigns for The R&A portfolio that support the organisation’s strategic objectives and positioning for each of the brands. The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing Team and other departments throughout the organisation, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure that all master and portfolio brand campaigns are developed collaboratively, achieving departmental objectives.

This is a full time permanent position working 35 hours per week, typically Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will be able to work on a hybrid basis, splitting their time between our St Andrews offices and their home, should they wish, usually with three days spent in the office per week. The successful candidate will fulfil any operational responsibilities at The R&A’s professional and amateur championships as required.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

  • Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent level of formal training, or extensive experience of working in a brand management/marketing environment.
  • Project management qualification (Prince 2 or similar) or equivalent experience
  • Considerable experience of successfully implementing brand strategies and/or internal/external campaigns.
  • Experience in delivering multi-channel solutions.
  • A proven track record in delivering effective engagement campaigns.
