If the answer is yes, yes, yes then we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the NRL as a Licensing Coordinator. The Licensing Coordinator will be responsible for managing licensee contracts and the licensing product development process on a day-to-day basis whilst also performing administrative and clerical duties to support the broader licensing team.

In the role you will:

  • Prepare draft licensing contracts
  • Oversee implementation of licensee plans and contracts
  • Manage licensee product development and product approval in accordance with NRL policies
  • Monitor licensed product sales and assist with quarterly royalty reporting
  • Compile project activity reports and review progress against action plans
  • Assist the Licensing Manager with budget monitoring, maintaining the contract database, contract filing and coordinate licensee and NRL club workshop events

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience within an admin role within a sports environment
  • Previous experience and knowledge of IP ownership rights
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build respected relationships with key stakeholders
  • Creative and innovative thinker - to identify new opportunities for licensees and products for fans of rugby league
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office programs specifically Excel
  • Pragmatic problem solver with the ability to think calmly under pressure
