About the role

The Major Events and Digital Transformation (ME&DT) Department is responsible for implementing the LTA’s Digital Transformation Programme and delivering International Tennis tournaments that drive visibility of tennis and engage new audiences.

Sitting within the ME&DT department, The Ticketing Coordinator will play a key role in the Events Team to deliver the operation of high quality ticketing and hospitality. Additional responsibilities include providing excellent customer service and activation delivery for key stakeholders and clients.

Key Accountabilities

Event delivery

  • Year round planning and on-site operational delivery of ticketing, and partner activation projects, working with tournament teams and suppliers to ensure consistent delivery across events.
  • Support the Ticketing Manager and the Ticketing and Hospitality team with the day to day operation of the Secutix ticketing platform, building on-sales, managing allocations and performing any direct sales as required.
  • Management of on-site box office customer service teams at allocated events, supporting the Ticketing Manager.
  • Supporting delivery of year-round management of hospitality sales through the system build and operation.
  • Provide assistance with the planning and delivery of LTA Branded non-tennis experiences and Team GB activations at away Davis and Fed Cup ties (i.e. management of key stakeholder allocations).
  • Supplier liaison and responsibility for specification and ordering for allocated projects.
  • Ticketing and Hospitality team inbox management and the point person for initial customer support team inquiries.


  • Process and track ticketing invoices and PDQ payments, working with the Ticketing Manager and finance team to ensure budgets are up to date
  • Process PO’s and provides admin support to the Ticketing and Hospitality team.
  • Manage accreditation for the Ticketing and Hospitality team, related hostesses and suppliers.
  • Support across additional projects as required.

Person Specification

Previous Experience of:

Experience working in sporting events, preferably on-site with a focus on customer service and/or hospitality delivery


Work effectively and collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders


Demonstrating exceptional personal communications skills with proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships


Educated to Degree level or able to demonstrate a level of operational understanding consistent with Degree level


Willingness to work non-standard hours over sustained periods to support on the ground event delivery


Availability to work between 1st June and 11th July 2021 (or future equivalent dates) and during other live event periods as required, including working occasional weekends and unsociable hours.


Knowledge, Training & Qualifications:

Experience working with Microsoft office suite, with a focus on excel


Experience working with online sales systems
