About the role
The Software Engineer is part of the application development team at the Lawn Tennis Association.
Software Engineers are responsible for setting, implementing and guiding back-end functionality and to challenge and lead the back-end component of project teams where required. Technical expertise, and the ability to work both independently, as well as within a team in an agile environment, is essential.
The role requires a passion for development and capability to realise ideas in ways that inspire the team and our organisation, working within a group of bright, passionate developers, keen to explore the latest web technologies. The Software Engineer liaises with others to provide solutions that are “performant”, yet push the limits in terms of what we are able to achieve technologically.
The successful candidate will have substantial relevant experience; you will be expected to take responsibility immediately and be comfortable working within a busy, driven and rewarding environment.
