About the role
We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic People and Culture team that is looking for a proactive and talented People & Culture Coordinator. The People & Culture Coordinator will support the wider team by providing a comprehensive administration and customer focused service in responding to different queries and issues.
They will be responsible for coordinating key HR processes including onboarding, system administration, processing invoices, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and answering routine queries from colleagues and managers through the service desk software. Organised and with an eye for detail, they will be confident dealing with a wide range of tasks and build a positive relationship across the organisation and will also be able to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines.

The People & Culture Co-ordinator will
- Provide a first-class customer service by managing a wide range of queries, questions and challenges that come to the Colleague Experience team.
- Provide an outstanding candidate experience from offer stage through to start date by being the first point of contact ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed appropriately.
- Support the process of onboarding, producing, and sending out offer packs, initiating background checks and setting up new starters on our People systems, informing other departments where relevant.
- Be the subject matter expert on all right to work checks for all new starters, developing best practice standards and always ensuring we’re fully compliant.
- Lead on the leavers process providing guidance for Line managers Offboarding.
- Support the People & Culture team through key projects such as annual salary review process, employee benefits review, implementation, transformation projects, and any other projects as required.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, work more efficiently and deliver the colleague experience services in the most effective, customer service focused way.
