The Role

To Build, develop, and maintain successful relationships with promoters and event owners and maximise event bookings through efficient diary management, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for prospective and confirmed events.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identify and target events suitable for a stadium.
  • Secure a minimum number of concerts within the available windows.
  • Be the main conduit between promoters and venue when securing contracts.
  • Generate additional income through protecting revenue streams and up selling the facilities.
  • Be aware of market trends and competitive elements within the industry, including other venues and potential clients and use this knowledge to develop the appropriate programming strategy.
  • Work alongside the FA Commercial team to ensure the agreed commercial strategy is delivered.
  • Assist the FA Commercial team with partners pitch days, and agreeing a window each year.
  • Attend pitch strategy meetings to help understand the requirements of the grounds' manager and event operations team with event bookings.
  • Produce presentations and reports where appropriate.
  • Ensure the stadium is maximising it's reach to all guests and improve on our ‘Best in Class' delivery to disabled guests with access requirements.
  • Provide on-site support to the Head of Event Operations, Stadium Director, and other Heads of Department during selected event days with their clients.
  • Execute additional tasks as required to meet FA strategic priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.

What we are looking for?

Essential

  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The gravitas to communicate confidently and concisely with a wide range of people.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.

Desirable

  • Experience of costing and budgeting new events.
  • Arena or stadium level experience of programming events.
  • Experience of finding first-time promoter clients that can deliver a stadium event.
