The Get Dublin City Swimming Officer will be joining the team at an exciting time, as we continue on the journey of a 5-year strategic plan and they will be able to help shape, develop and improve swimming participation rates throughout the city.
This role is in partnership with Dublin City Council and Dublin City Sport & Wellbeing Partnership.
Role and Reporting Structure:
Reporting to the Head of Participation and the Get Ireland Swimming Team Leader, the Get Dublin City Swimming Officer will assist Swim Ireland and Dublin City Council/Dublin City Sport & Wellbeing Partnership in achieving their core objectives of promoting swimming. The successful applicant will work closely with the Dublin City Sport & Wellbeing Partnership, other Dublin City Council staff & facility operators and commercial entities to both enhance and create opportunities to encourage more people to swim on a regular basis.

Remuneration and Location:
The salary will be €33,500 per annum plus entitlement to join the Swim Ireland Company Pension Scheme subject to meeting and acceptance of the terms & conditions of the scheme.
Position Tenure: 1 year fixed-term full-time contract.
Start: Immediate Start
Position Location: Swim Ireland, Blanchardstown / Dublin City Sport & Wellbeing Partnership, Dublin City Council. Some level of hybrid working will be permitted but is dependent on the requirements of the business.
Appointment will be made subject to satisfactory: Garda Vetting; and suitable reference checks.
