What will you be doing?
You’ll be managing all Academy transport, ensuring the operations of this provision are in line with the expectations set out by the Head of Academy Operations.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring transport is appropriately sourced for all players to attend training sessions, games, tournaments and relevant events. To do this, you’ll be setting the Academy mini-bus routes each week and appointing drivers to cover these routes.
Communication is key, making sure drivers, Academy players and host families are aware of, and understand, who/where they are picking up. You’ll be the first port of call for all transport related queries, both internally from drivers and externally from players/parents.
Other duties include line management responsibilities for the 6 Academy drivers based at Staplewood, and the Academy Transport Assistant. You’ll also respond to all welfare issues and requirements during transport and will be ensuring the relationship with children and vulnerable adults is appropriate and language, behaviour and demeanour is suitable.
Is this you?
You know the local and surrounding areas like the back of your hand, and you understand the need for flexible working due to the demands of the football industry. You love to be very organised and you’re confident at communicating to anyone. You’re proactive, friendly and good at problem solving.
