Join Our Team as an Assistant Safety Officer
Are you ready to make a real impact on safety at our events at Scottish Rugby? We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Event Safety Officer with a proven track record of supporting the compliance, maintenance and operation of spectator-related issues. working collaboratively with police, local authorities, and external contractors.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Strengthen Event Safety: Partner with police and public agencies to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance.
- Make Safety Decisions: be the nominated event day safety representative or deputy as required, with responsibility for all safety decisions during the event.
- Coordinate Operations: Assist with the planning and implementation of the stadium Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule relationships, working with external contractors to align safety initiatives with our mission.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with police, local councils, and external stakeholders and a minimum of 12 months experience delivering event safety management, preferably in a sports stadium.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ideally you’ll have or be working towards Level 4 Diploma in Spectator Safety Management.
- A commitment to safety, teamwork, and excellence.
