We’re looking for an Accreditation Manager to lead the accreditation team at Scottish Rugby.

Job Purpose

The Accreditation Manager at Scottish Rugby is responsible for the accreditation for events at BTMurrayfield, Scotstoun Stadium, and other venues around the country on behalf of Scottish Rugby, Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby. This includes external contractors and employees.

This role leads the team with the main aim to make the accreditation process effective, efficient and secure so that everyone coming onsite has a positive experience before they start their working day.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the Accreditation Team in delivering against the business strategy
  • Create, manage, and communicate a team focussed resourcing plan to ensure the wellbeing of our people, particularly through busy periods
  • Develop, implement, and manage parking management at BT Murrayfield and other venues as required.
  • Budget Management responsibility
  • Lead the Accreditation process with Event Promoters for Third Party stadium hires

  • Make great decisions: able to decide on the best course of action, taking into considering the wider context of the situation

How Accreditation works

The core days are Monday to Friday and the full-time hours are 371⁄2 hours a week. When matchesand events are on, we work over and above, ensuring Scottish Rugby delivers world class events.

Our priority is delivering a safe, secure, and organised experience for anyone visiting our stadium. This means that there will be weekend working and long hours during key events, but wellbeing is important to us, so we actively encourage our people to manage their time to ensure they get the time back and take well deserved breaks.

As this is a stadium operational role, most of the time will be onsite, but there will be occasions to be able to work from home on a hybrid model.
