Foundation Level Football Coach - 15 weeks - £18/£20 per hour - U7s Team Boot Camp Coach
Runcorn Saxons FC are recruiting an experienced Foundation Level coach to deliver 15 x 1 hour per week team training sessions for our new September 2023/24 squad.
S delivering FUN structured development sessions.
In line with our Club Philosophy you will be responsible for this new squad whilst a suitable volunteer coach is recruited.
The role will involve you organising end to end sessions and include:
- Player development
- Planning FUN based age appropriate sessions
- Delivering sessions
- Organising player attendance through a parents WhatsApp group
- Manager the team during friendlies on training nights.
- Reporting weekly into the Club Development Team on progress, any issues or concerns.
- Players are all beginners at FUNdamental stage development (Ages 5 or 6 School year 1).
To apply candidates need to:
- Have previous experience and be enthusiastic about football coaching at foundation level.
- Must hold as a minimum FA’s Introduction To Coaching (Level 1) certificate – Ideally be a UEFA C (Level 2).
- Have a proven background in creating and delivering structured, age appropriate coaching plans for this level role.
- You must be able to supply coaching’ references.
- Be reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
- Have own transport and be able to attend midweek and weekend sessions in Runcorn, Cheshire.
Coaches who undertake any unsupervised roles with children and young people under the age of 18 are required to complete an online FA DBS check which is paid for by the Club.
