An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Rugby Football League, the national governing body for Rugby League in the UK. We oversee the England Rugby League teams (men, women & wheelchair) programmes, the Betfred Challenge Cup Rugby League’s national knock out competition with its final at Wembley Stadium live on the BBC as well as the Betfred Championship and League One. We are seeking to appoint a Match Officials Administrator based within our Match Officials Department.

Principal duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for receiving weekly reporting of team sheets and match reports.
  • Assist with the administering of official’s fitness testing.
  • Co-ordination of file and record systems to ensure information is held securely and easily
    accessible by appropriate team members
  • To provide a professional and efficient administrative support service within the team.
  • Responsible for drafting letters, typing and writing administrative documents in agreed formats
    and within specified timescales. Ensure documents produced are of high quality in terms of
    presentation and accuracy at all times.
  • Minute taking at team meetings and other meetings as required. Responsible for booking venues, preparing agendas, accurate and comprehensive transcribing of minutes and ensuring actions arising from the meeting are dealt with as appropriate.
  • Provide IT support to team members and colleagues.
  • Sharing skills and expertise with others to maximise team success.
  • Responsible for the updating of all contact information on outlook, excel spreadsheets and the website.
