Randalstown Rugby Football Club is currently inviting applications to join our dedicated group of volunteers for the available position of head coach, beginning the forthcoming 2022/23 season.
Reformed in 2015, Randalstown Ladies Rugby, compete in the Deloitte Ulster Rugby Women’s’ Championship which is a competitive league which promotes skill, strength and the games core values across all clubs. The squad is always open and welcoming of new players, no matter their experience levels and we are proud to be a club that develops and supports our players whilst competing in a hotly contested league competition.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced, ambitious, and energetic coach to join a hardworking and enthusiastic squad of varying levels of experience. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work effectively with players, other coaches, and the club committee to provide a positive coaching environment in which players will learn and develop to maximise the potential of the senior women’s teams.
The successful candidate should have:
- Previous coaching experience and a senior coaching qualification or be working towards said certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A structured and organised approach to the development, planning, and delivery of training sessions
The successful candidate would have responsibility for leading:
- Pre-season activities and training programme
- Two training sessions per week
- Senior squad match day both home and away
- Further development of team culture and recruitment in attracting new players of all experience and ability levels
