Premiership Rugby Limited (PRL) is a private company, owned by our 13 Member Clubs and CVC Capital Partners. Premiership Rugby is principally responsible for the management of the Gallagher Premiership Rugby competition and is a shareholder in European Professional Championship Rugby (EPCR) which manages the Heineken Champions Cup and the Challenge Cup, in which the Member Clubs participate. PRL also manages the Premiership Rugby Cup, Premiership Rugby Shield, and Under 18s competition.

Day-to-day duties will also include, dealing with general media inquiries, operating the Premiership Rugby Accreditation system, drafting press releases, filing, handling telephone calls, research and generating reports as required.
S/he will also support the Communications Director in producing the editorial content for both our website and app and in maintaining the Premiership Rugby press release system
S/he will show great attention to detail and be highly organised. Good IT skills and excellent written and spoken English are essential. Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel are vital.
The successful applicant will also be able to communicate confidently at all levels, handle confidential information with discretion and manage a busy workload calmly and efficiently.
This role will involve weekend work through the Gallagher Premiership Rugby season as wanting to attend matches will be a key part of the role.
Knowledge of the sport of rugby union is essential.

This role will require the successful candidate to be based predominantly at our head office in Victoria, 37.5 hours per week with at least 3 days per week to be office based.
