Netball Scotland is established, maintained and managed for the purpose of promoting, organising and developing the game of netball and to act as the sole controlling and governing body of the game of netball in Scotland.
THE ROLE
We are delighted to present to the market the role of Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through
this next critical phase of growth and evolution, and beyond.
We are looking for a passionate and inspirational individual to fill this position. Working closely with the Board,
Senior Leadership Team and other key stakeholders at local, national and international level, the CEO will have
ownership, accountability, and responsibility for leading the growth and development of netball in Scotland.
They will lead our team of staff to deliver critical outcomes within Netball Scotland’s corporate strategy, D27: Closing The Gap, and will drive the professionalisation process for Strathclyde Sirens.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who wants to really make their mark in an ambitious sport at a truly
exciting and important time. Netball Scotland is comprised of over 20 passionate people who care deeply about the sport and the impact it can have. The CEO role has a small number direct reports including Finance/Operations, Performance,
Development and Commercial. This role reports into the Chair of Netball Scotland.
HOW WE SEE IT WORKING:
Ideally, we would like to have one person fill this role, however we would be open to a job-sharing arrangement
of 2 people with complementary skills. We pride ourselves in having a family-friendly approach to employment
and how people are managed. The role is based in the Emirates arena in Glasgow, however, we are open to
hybrid working and there will be some travel with the role. We will work to an optimal solution for the right
candidate(s).

act autonomously within our governance frameworks. You will be supported and constructively challenged by
our experienced, independent Board. We’re looking for a self-starter; someone with energy and passion and the
