Job Role:
Sports Coach- Summer 2022
The Sports Coach is responsible for planning and delivering our holiday programme ‘Play, Create, Move’, combining different sports and activities for 5-13 year-olds.
Sports Coaches are responsible for coaching and looking after a group of up to 15 children, delivering highly active, fun and safe sessions that ensure every child is engaged and learning new skills. Furthermore, you will have to keep children entertained throughout the day with arts and craft activities as well as fun games they can play during break times. A big part of the job for the Sports Coach will be developing relationships with the parents, children, and other sports coaches to create high-quality customer service.
Personal Specification:
We’re looking for extremely positive individuals who have the following:
- At least 2 years experience of coaching a range of sports
- Experience of working with children 5-13.
- A proactive attitude and knack to go the extra mile for customers
- Good organisational skills
- An excitable personality and ability to connect with the children
Required:
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Level 1 qualification in Sports Coaching
