Job Description:

As Senior Chef de Partie you will be joining a small and highly talented brigade of chefs working in our Fine Dining kitchen which operates a dinner service only. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to progress to the next level in their culinary journey and develop skills and knowledge within a long standing and experienced team. The role comprises of preparing and serving modern and innovative dishes to the highest standards for our membership. The menus are changed weekly and are seasonally led and abode some of Scotland’s signature ingredients from the very best seafood, beef and wild game.

Given the unique access to our onsite kitchen greenhouse and garden which showcases an abundance of fresh produce, we expect our chefs to expand their creative skills to create unique and special dishes. The chosen candidate will be expected to consistently push the standards of food production and be well-mannered with good temperament to join an existing team.


As the role develops you will be expected to bring a wealth of knowledge, skill and passion to the team and support fellow chefs in the day-to-day business demands a busy kitchen brings. Attention to detail from preparation to execution of the dish is expected at all times whilst ensuring all orders are delivered to the members in a timely and efficient manner.

Required Skills and experience:

Loch Lomond Golf Club is a world class resort with a membership spanning across the globe, it is imperative our staff have the correct attributes to accommodate the needs for the business to grow. You must be approachable, friendly, hardworking, and have previous experience in similar operations to the same standards.

It is expected that you are creative, and business minded, focused on achieving set margins whilst being mindful of operational costs that go hand in hand in the running of a kitchen.

This is a highly professional environment so a good temperament and calm nature whilst under pressure is expected.

Hours: Annualised hours based on 42hr week. Hours worked after that are banked and taken when the club is running reduced business levels during the winter season, closed Christmas and whole month of January.

Days: 5 out of 7 straight shift patterns

Holidays: 30 days plus banked time accrued to use during winter
