The Role:

At Leicester Tigers, we are excited to announce that an opportunity has opened up to work in our Marketing department, as a Marketing Executive.

To assist the Marketing Operations Manager to produce, drive and execute the clubs marketing plans to drive revenue and hit KPI’s and support all departments in their marketing activities, and evaluate customer research, data analysis, market conditions and to suggest and implement alterations to marketing plans where necessary.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • To put together and co-ordinate plans, meeting notes and actions with the Marketing Operations Manager
  • To assist in the development and delivery of all communications, across all products that require marketing using both the internal and external marketing channels.
  • To create and have influence on promotional marketing for all areas of the business
  • To liaise with communications team regarding supporter communications
  • To ensure that the Tigers ‘brand’ is projected correctly at all times and corporate guidelines followed.
  • To carry out any other duties and tasks required by management, which are within the post-holders capabilities.
  • To assist in Tigers vision to make Leicester Tigers the best sports brand in the world.

  • A Marketing/Digital Marketing Degree (BA or Masters)
  • Experience or familiarity in the following IT packages – Microsoft Office, (necessary) Adobe suite
  • Strong attention to detail for branding and editing purposes
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written
  • Solid organizational and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure Experience of managing projects from start to finish
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • A real interest in sports and sports retail marketing
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours and requirements
  • Eligible to work in the UK


  • Project Management qualification
  • A good understanding of marketing mix - e.g. social media, digital advertising, CRM
