The IRFU is the governing body for rugby football on the island of Ireland. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the IRFU wishes to appoint a Chief Financial Officer who will lead the financial strategy and play a key role in the overall strategic and commercial direction of the organisation.
Applications for this critical executive position are sought from candidates with significant progressive experience in senior finance and strategic leadership roles, who have contributed to the growth and development of a major national or international organisation, have strong technical accounting and financial control skills, and a track record of effective and Prudential Financial stewardship.
Experience of operating at Board level is essential, as is an understanding of rugby.
