Job Overview:

CSCM are IT partners for Ipswich Town Football Club, providing whole IT solutions for the Club. We are seeking an IT Support Technician, to be based full-time at Portman Road Stadium for Ipswich Town Football Club. You'll also be traveling to the training ground at Playford Road, and occasionally visit CSCM’s West Midlands offices for training and briefings.

Your Role:

Reporting to the CSCM’s Service Desk Manager, you will be heavily involved in the day-to-day onsite support issues for users and will be supporting in the functions of larger projects involving upgrades and changes, managed by CSCM.

As well as covering the Stadium and the Training ground, there will be opportunities to work on event & match day’s as well as supporting Ipswich Town at away events such as the Suffolk Show. Your role will include providing support to users and third parties such as press and corporate guests. Due to the nature of the business, working outside standard office hours will be required, for which you will get time off in lieu.

You'll be working in a great, supportive, busy environment, where no one day will be the same. Your role will varied and include:

  • Dealing with users on the telephone and in person to determine issues quickly and clearly.
  • Providing excellent user service.
  • Assessing issues quickly, taking appropriate action and escalating to support team.
  • Monitoring proactive systems for offline services and critical issues.
  • Meeting Service desk targets for quality and performance.
  • Variable match day support.
  • Making sure all documentations are kept up to date.
  • Other technical related duties.

About you:

You'll enjoy interacting with others, have qualifications in Computer Science or related course with proven experience in an IT support function. You'll have also:

  • Be proficient in Windows Desktop Support, Active Directory, and Office 365 management.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to self-learn and develop your IT capabilities.
  • A full UK Driving License and your own transport are required.
