We are looking for a keen and proactive qualified Physiotherapist/ Sports therapist to join our medical team. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Medical to run MSK clinics and provide solo game cover to include pre-match taping/preparation, pitch side first aid and injury cover for the Senior Men’s Squad.
This will involve home games based in Henley-on-Thames and away game for which travel will be provided. As well as 1-2 evening clinics a week.
A minimum of RFU PHICIS (Pre-Hospital Intermediate Care in Sport) Level 2 qualification is required for National 2 level rugby, therefore this can be organised and funded by the club for the successful candidate. Proof of qualifications and insurance will also be required.
Previous experience in pitch-side injury management is desirable as are taping skills. However, support will be given by the Lead Physiotherapist in shared clinics as well as further group training including the whole medical team to help development and ensure up to date evidence-based practices.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain some experience working alongside a wider Rugby Medical Team and perfect as a gateway for those interested in a sporting therapy career.
Salary: dependent on experience
