Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of Football & Stadium Administration. This pivotal role requires a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of the football industry, particularly within the context of Scottish football. The successful candidate will play a key role in the operational and administrative functions of the club, ensuring efficient management of football operations and stadium activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day football operations, ensuring all activities align with the club’s strategic goals.
- Act as the primary liaison between the sporting director, coaching staff, players, and other stakeholders.
- Manage all stadium-related activities, including match day operations, facility management, and ensuring an exceptional fan experience.
- Implement and maintain compliance with football regulations and best practices.
- Organize and attend monthly board meetings to provide updates and strategic insights on football operations and stadium activities.
- Monitor and manage the club’s use of the SFA's Comet System for player registrations, fixture management, and other relevant functions.
- Coordinate football administration tasks, ensuring timely submission of essential documentation to football authorities.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operational teams to align football activities with club objectives.
- Lead and develop the football and stadium staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience within the football industry, with a comprehensive understanding of its operations.
- Prior experience, and preferably expertise, with the SFA’s Comet System, the former SFA Extranet & possibly the FIFA TMS system (preferable but not necessary)
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with the rules and regulations of Scottish football.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexible to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends as required by match schedules as well as travel with club to all fixtures on Matchdays
