About the opportunity: 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join our growing Everton in the Community Team, covering The People’s Campus.

The People’s Campus consists of our People’s Hub, People’s Place and Blue Base.

During your reception duties you will be the face of Everton in the Community, the first point of contact for visitors to The People’s Hub, People’s Place or Blue Base; greeting, providing advice, information and assistance to our diverse visitors. You will also provide administration services as and when required in support of the wider use of the People’s Campus, across the People’s Campus.

You must have a real passion for delivering exceptional customer service, no matter what the situation, as well as assisting with the day to day co-ordination of all other activities and room bookings within the buildings of which you will operate.

Other key responsibilities will include: 

  • To provide first class levels of customer service, building rapport and relationships with customers, staff, visitors and participants, and ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
  • To identify the specific nature of any queries, whether face to face or over the telephone, and apply the appropriate action response.
  • To ensure that equipment is available for participants using any of the facilities and to ensure equipment is returned and effectively stored, as required.
  • To manage the booking systems for activities that take place across the People’s Campus, and work with key colleagues to ensure the facilities are used and always maximised.
  • To interact with colleagues from other departments within EitC, and wider Club colleagues, to ensure good working relationships and delivery of ‘Nil Satis’ customer service.
  • To provide excellent administration, as required, in support of the planning and co-ordination of all EitC building activities.

Who we are looking for: 

Essentially we are looking for an individual who is driven and motivated with a commitment of providing excellent customer service.

Our successful post holder will understand the principles of managing information and have the ability to maintain confidentiality.

You will need to be a good team player with the ability to work on own initiative.  

Other key Knowledge and Skills will include: 

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Experience of dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone.
  • Experience of liaising with internal and external clients and stakeholders at a senior management level.
  • An understanding of the principles of managing information.

Please note that This role may require the successful postholder to work occasional weekends and matchdays.

The working hours for this role are 25 hours per week, this role will be offered on a permanent basis.
