ROLE OVERVIEW
British Swimming is recruiting a part-time nutritionist to work within the British Diving World Class Programme. The position will be based in London at the London Aquatics Centre. The role will provide the delivery and development of nutrition support to World Class Programme athletes within Diving. The practitioner will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create a world class high performance training environment.
Salary Scales: £26,794 p.a. pro rata
Grade: Level 2 (All Sciences)
Hours of Work: 0.2FTE (1 day/wk). Such hours as necessary to carry out your duties. This will involve a minimum of 7.5 hours per week and will include working outside normal office hours at evenings and weekends and on Public Holidays.
Location:
London, although the role will require some infrequent element of national travel throughought the British Diving network.
Reporting to: Head of Sport Science and Medicine, British Diving and Head of Physical Performance, British Swimming
MAIN TASKS AND ACTIVITIES:
Work as part of the British Swimming Nutrition Team (as led by the Head of Physical Performance) and within the wider SSSM and coaching team to support and improve performance through developing, implementing and evaluating nutrition services.
