England Golf is the governing body for male and female amateur golf in England. It represents over 1,900 golf clubs with over 740,000 members and is affiliated to The R&A, the joint global governing body of golf.
England Golf is seeking applications for one contractor position in the performance team as a men’s lead coach working on a national level. As the men’s lead coach, you will be responsible for the development and preparation of players in the England men’s squad/teams.
The role will be contracted for 80 delivery days and will be broken down into coaching camps, competition attendance, individual player support and continued professional development.
Key Responsibilities
The main purpose of the position will be to prepare and coordinate all aspects of the men’s squad for competition. This includes the designing, implementation and management of a periodised programme for each individual at squad camps and in their home training environment. There is also a requirement to work closely with the performance director, performance manager and squad manager to:

This role has been identified as involving access to adults at risk and/or children and, in line with England Golf policy, persons undertaking this role will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service Disclosure Check and must also have attended a Safeguarding and Protecting Children course (SPC) or be willing to undertake one.
